i have a GTST that i will be using just for drag racing does anyone know of a shifter set up that i can use

i found this one any comments would help thanks.

If the cars going to be for drag racig then convert it to an auto. Go 2 speed powerglide with a full manual valve body or a transbrake kit. This holds the auto in reverse and first while you are on the line holding a botton down on the stearing wheel, bring the revs up to launch, let go of the botton when the light goes green and it fires the car down the track. It even shifts into the second gear as well. Its just about the ultimate drag set up you can get.

Purely for drag, can't go past a manualised powerglide + transbrake..

my mates commodore with powerglide, 5000rpm histall and transbrake

FYI (to expand on what was said above) transbrakes engage first & reverse to allow you to load the engine up and build boost so you can launch at full boost :)
