my car has been at the panel beaters for 2.5 months now. car has been repaired and the first time nissan ordered my parts they didn't get me a intercooler + sensor (didn't know i needed one until they were putting my car back together). they ordered it 3 weeks ago. feels like a life time and still waiting, how long does it take for parts to come from japan???

depends if they're on back order in JP.

if they're in stock in JP, then in the next 2 weeks you'll get the parts. Then your repairer will close for xmas and Jan.

You'll get the car back in Feb.

PS a Gallardo will smash your R34 in so many different ways, and positions lol

Was it sent through air mail or sea? My wheels took 8 weeks to arrive from postage by sea. Air shouldn't take more than 2 weeks.

good news, just got a phone call from my repairer "nissan said they lost the container with your parts in it" what utter BS. so i called up nissan aust. and they'll look into it. hmmmmp.

anyone know what sensor goes into the intercooler, maybe i can source 1 here and get a aftermarket cooler.

i don't have a 34, but I think it's just a temp sensor on the outlet side of the cooler. you could just run the cooler without the sensor until it arrives (as long as you blank over the sensor hole), but you won't get a reading on the MFD for intercooler temp. You might also get a warning light or the MFD might not work if it doesn't detect a sensor - who knows...

Overnight parts from Japan, is what I'm hearing. Vin Doesn't lie. It must be true, teh interwebs says so!!!
