hey guys..

well the time has come to get a FMIC for my 'line.

iv deceided to go with a custom job rather than a HKS etc.

i was wondering where is the best place in Syd to go for this..

i want it all fitted including cutting my front bar for better air flow.

i was considering Mick's Metal Craft..

any one hace any suggestions?

Unique Autosports

nismo.com.au

R33 Skyline GTST kit retail $1695 (i can better it)

600 x 300 x 75 polished intercooler

Alluminium polished pipework provided with kit as well as heavy duty silicone hose fittings and clamps.

Bolts on, only mods required are a hole under the washer bottle and a slight trim of the front bar.

Great intercoolers, i have fitted one and im more than happy with it

Ricol Automotive at Peakhurst and Mr Enforcer at chipping norton both do excellent coolers, you have the choice of alloy of mild steel plumbing. Ricol will chop and modify front bar if needed.

All parts and installation for around the $1500 mark. but people will often do it cheaper if you can do somethin for them...

my cooler is gettin done now for round $800 only because im tattooing the bloke for free.

so shop around....

Nick,

Are the UAS ones easy to fit yourself ?? I mean - I'm not useless with a shifter and a screwdriver, but I wouldn't want to get myself in the 5hit. I assume all the bits and pieces like hoses and clamps etc come with the kit ??

Any one know indicitive power gains with a cooler like this ??

Brendan: im the same. I like tinkering but im no JUN mechanic :uh-huh: The kit has everything. The only tools u will likely need are a air saw or hacksaw blade, some fine sand paper to smooth bar edges if trimming is required, drill with 3 inch hole saw bit screwdrivers/shifters.

Not hard at all... it does pay to have an extra pair of hands. Myself and cereal jacques fitted my cooler, we used the hoist and tools at UAS
