I did a search for rb25 turbo and how much boost can they take but cant find any info.

I think the car is running a stock turbo however i have been told by some people that a stock rb25det turbo will not make 203.6rwkw on 12 psi. Is this true or not. Also is there any way of telling as in seriel numbers if the turbo is in fact a stocko.

I was told that it had a rb25det Neo turbo on it but i dont know why you would do this as i have also been told that there not any better then the standard rb25 turbo.

Any info to help solve this would be good

They can handle up to 1 bar but only for short bursts, otherwise prolonged uses at 1 bar WILL cost you the turbo.

A safe limit is 10-13psi, however it depends on the condition of the turbo, whether theres any shaft play, using oil, smoke etc. If its noisy then you could get away with just a recon.

you can easily make 200+rwkw on the stocker. It depends on what afr's youre running primarily. I've seen around 220rwkw with the stocker at around 13psi, But then again, every turbo/engine is different.

Yeah thanks mate. That is what i thought.

The turbo at this stage seems good. Not noisy just has the normal turbo spool sound it screams ad sounds like its loving it.

Here is my dyno graph. Also does it matter if it is done in third or forth. I think he did mine in third
