Hi All,

Just 8 days left to go in our pre-xmas sale.

As you can imagine, the large amount of traffic to our website caused by our xmas sale is putting a pretty heavy load on our webserver at certain times of the day.

If you get an "internal server error" message, that simply means that the server is unable to keep up with the current amount of requests for pages on the site - so wait 10 seconds or so, click the "reload / refresh" button, and page will load up. If not, click the reload / refresh button again.

Our new server arrived on Friday, which we will be deploying in January. It's a complete beast. The noise it makes is outrageous haha.

We are Works Bell exclusive authorised Australian distributor.

As per your question, the Works Bell boss kits are machined with two sets of mounting holes for the steering wheel - 6 bolt 70mm PCD (Momo, Sparco bolt pattern) and 6 bolt 74mm PCD (Nardi bolt pattern).

Here is a photo of one ...

Please advise the exact model and month and year build date of your car so we can be sure we are quoting on the correct boss for you car.

I misread the saving off the RRP of the quick release as the price.

The Works Bell Rapfix II Quick Release is currently on sale at a price of AU$430, which is $81 off Japanese retail and a massive $173.79 (28%) off the Australian RRP.

The genuine Works Bell Rapfix II Quick Release is made from billets of high strength A5056 alloy. This high strength A5056 Alloy is then heat treated to H34 standard which increases the yield strength of the metal by 60%, to approach that of Duralumin, widely known as a super strong material.

Works Bell don't stop there though ...

This high strength and heat treated A5056 Alloy is then cold die forged.

SAFETY TESTING

As a result, the Works Bell Rapfix II meets the safety standards set by ASEA (Auto Sports & Special Equipment Association) which is the Japanese equivalent of SEMA.

Works Bell's products have been subjected to a huge number of safety tests, including the following:

- Material Hardness Test

- Material Tensile Test

- JASO C713 Static load bending test on steering wheel

- JASO C713 Static load torsion test on steering wheel

- JASO C713 Static load fatigue bending test on steering wheel

- JASO C713 Static load fatigue torsion test on steering wheel

At the end of the day, a quick release is what keeps your steering wheel connected to your car, so it goes without saying that the genuine Works Bell quick release is the best way to go if you want a quick release.

It's a non-HICAS, non-airbag ECR33 built in 1995. I don't remember the build month, sorry. It's a series 1 if that helps.
