Thanks for the help guys,

the other dyno sheet is much appreciated,

and thanks for the support dori,

i'll gap my plugs on the weekend from standard NGK copper sizes, probably down to about .6-.7, see if that sorts it out, check hoses, normal things.

also, now running smurf blood ie. martini, semi synthetic, instead of my usual motul 10 40. I know changing oils can affect smoothness of the engine, but the cars been tuned when it had motul, changing oils wouldnt contribute to the missfire would it?

But isn’t this is a High comp NA RB25 with a Turbo kit bolted on? Probably started to detonate with high boost. Need to install a Thick head gasket to lower compression before add in more timing and boost. The max power as I've seen out of TR43 on normal RB25det is 261rwkws at 20psi.

I wouldn't call the RB5DE a 'high' comp motor... Its based on comp/fuel from the early 90's.

Especially once you put 98 octane fuel in it as opposed for what it was made for so it wouldn't ping (cats piss fuel), so overall the comp ratio isn't substancially higher than what you could run when you build up a turbo (as most people increase compression a little these days) now that fuels are more reasonable
