vekta
Hey, I've just put down a deposit on my first ever skyline r33 s2 turbo (which is my dream car), and I'm buying from a dealer in Sydney. I live a couple of hours away. But here's my dilemma, should I get: 1. MTA check 2. Stateroads check 3. NRMA (which involves driving back to Sydney and getting it done) 4. Take it to a Skyline/performance mechanic in Sydney and get everything checked (most expensive option, and I don't know who to take it to, can anyone suggest a reliable mechanic?) Also, is it worth getting it compression tested? This car is an import and I'd be the first owner here. I'm assuming it's been thrashed, but I just want to know how badly and if there's anything major wrong with it... Thanks in advance - any info is greatly appreciated. vekta
Hello, To follow-up from my last post - for anyone who is interested - I ended up just getting a Stateroads inspection done. I was very happy with it and can recommend them. vekta.
