Hey guys my names jason as you may have guessed i live in alice springs. I am seventeen and i just bought a MR30 Sedan a while back it's really a shit heap but not when i'm done with it i've just started putting in the new L20et i bought there were a few f up's along that way the guy that sold it to me told me it was complete but it's missing bits galore which makes the build just a little bit slower, the Car is a 1982 MR30 a Door sedan by the looks of it the original colour was that horible mint green and the dick who owned it last spray painted the exterior black and white but left the inside boot, bonnet and door jams green. Anyway before i even think bout exterior work i will finish this engine build up, a mate of mine is getting me a R34gtt Intercooler and in $700 time i will be fitting an after market exhaust to it, but for now neeto deal with the problems at hand which is currently the motor and getting the sucker going. Anyway those who r interested stay tuned to this thread for more details of the build up it should be a fairly tight street car when it's done.

Did you buy the L20ET off eBay a few months back for about $600.00? I think it was in Newcastle NSW.

No i actually bought it here in alice of a guy that owns a HR30 Twin Turbo Coupe that is fully decked out he didn't need the original engine anymore

well i was told buy this guy that gave me the engine that it would just Quote "drop in" well that is really a load of crap ive had more trouble with the transplant than i can think of we have the L20ET in there but now what i have to do is take the entire destributer of the old motor and put it on the new one but to do that we have to pull the head and everything off the old one just to take the front off anyway this had better turn out good for all the man hours me and mate have put in
