What Twin Turbo's Do You Recommend?

Hi guys, im looking at buying twins for my r32 gtr and not sure what to buy. Im looking

at response not laggy turbo's, i was thinking of r34 gtr n1's or something similar. what do

you fellas think i should get.

Well you could do a lot worse than Trust T517Z. They really suit the GTR quite well and are not overly expensive either

Are the 2860-5 better than the 2860-7? which is more responsive?

Response, you can't go past Garrett 2860-7's, R34 N1 equivalent.

-7 for response, similar to the HKS gt-ss.

are the 517z's ball bearing???? anyone know

The -5 is a 360hp turbo with a larger compressor wheel so more lag.

The -7 is a 310hp turbo that is more responsive.

So -7 = very roughly 250-320rwkw

-5 = 330-400rwkw

I'm planning to go the -5 due to the fact I just built my engine stronger and I have 2530's that need replacing.

trust 517 and 518z's are bush bearing and non water cooled.

They are a great turbo though.

Slide performance on these forums (SAU trader) had them for sale for $2545 for the pair plus actuators.

This was for -5 and -7's.
