Installing New Oil Pump, Any Preping Needed?

Hey ive just built my block up and putting N1 Oil pump and Jun collar on but just wanna know what i have to do prior to putting it on, ive been told that i should fill the whole inside full of gease so the pump will suck up the oil to start with??

or can point me in the right difection if there is a link of somthing already

any input would be great, cheers.

Nah dont need vaseline with those pumps. Just a light smear of oil or assembly lube to help lubricate on initial cranking.
