Drivers Side Front Guard

As the title suggest, anyone can confirm a Series 1 drivers side front guard is the same as the Series 2's?

Nope - the headlight is a completely different shape, as is the bonnet

I am 99.9% sure the only way to interchange them is to swap Guards, Bonnet, Front bar, Grill, Headlights, High beam lights, indicators/fog lights and front bar reo all at once.

we have an old member who went to the dark side of the force (Alex and his evo) who went down this path a couple of years ago. Pretty sure he was the first in Aus to do it, and the results were quite good.

He did kinda lose most of his front end in an accident tho IIRC

yeah his car was reversed into by a truck if my memory serves me and used the opportunity to convert to series 2 face

the guards are completely different so you'll need to track down an s2 panel to replace yours. complete front ends are easy to interchange - much the same as s13 silvia and 180sx fronts can simply be swapped over (same chassis)

he then did a S2 conversion to his S1, to make it the first official S1.5 in Australia, LOL

was a good job, took time tho of course

Nick, Id suggest getting onto wreckers for a replacement panel, or local quotes to fix that one up (via a re-skin)
