Yes, you can use the wiring for the stock boost solenoid. Mine has been wired up with spade connectors straight into the stock boost solenoid plug :(

You will need to change the way the tubes to the mac valve are set up, though.

well ive only got to choose from 1 black and 1 white wire to connect the wires from the MAC valve (which both wires are black). i dont know which one to connect to which. the wiring diagram only had the colours that come from the ecu which are LG and L/W.

and i still dont know which wires from the mac valve are + and -

I just went and had a look at mine for you. Both wires on the Mac valve are black, but it looks like one has writing on it. I also saw '---', so I guess that one is the negative. The stock BC connector is a rectangle shape with the connectors in a T sort of layout. The connector that is at one end of the rectangle connector is the negative. The one that runs down the centre of the 'rectangle' is the positive. I hope that makes sense.

OK, well there ya go then. That would explain why the wires are both black :D

yeah it confused me at first.. just like injectors.. they don't have + or -

you learn something every day ;) .. dunno what i have learnt yet though :)

Yes you have...

That DiRT is a tightass and wont spend coin on a wideband

If i am tuning it then you are going to have to have a wideband sensor. Simple.

Anthony, get him to pull the one out of your car, then he can put it back when your done?

No.

I win. he purchased one :D I want to setup Open Loop correction on his car.. big $$ engine would be good to have some insurance when he is at power cruise

his o2 sensor is more in the front half than the rear end doof :D

Anthony would you mind PM'ing me with a basic run down of setting up antilag and cyclic idle. Did the fuel map need to be changed at all?

good thing I don't tune my own car then...

either way... the heart-break is still there...

hey ive tuned your car!!.. Twice! Stop your whinging!

& No can do Titan.. you got stock turbo.. i am guessing it would break on your first anti lag.

    • Depends how low and tyre size. Should fit with natural camber, skinny tyres and rolled guards.
    • Hi guys, planning to get 18x9 +25 in fronts and 18x10 +25 in rears been reading the whole thread and cant really find anything   Anyone know if these will fit a r34 gtt with no scrubbing or guard work needed?
    • They usually get made by hand as part of any such swap.
    • Was planning on getting an R35 MAF and the adapter, should this be okay? Also any idea where I could get my hands on an intake pipe?
    • I mean yes, if you're starting from scratch on an unknown engine yes you don't need to be doing all kinds of math in the background but if you're doing relatively minor changes like AFM + injectors + boost up with some aftermarket turbos it takes quite a bit of math if you want to do something like maintain OEM fuel + timing tables but compressed and then a bit more load scale up top. I think I've spent too much time working on big engineering nightmares though so I'm a big fan of trying to constrain the scope of whatever work I'm doing as much as possible and trying to get it right before moving on. For example, a local owner just did the usual E85 + single turbo conversion to his R32 GTR and nearly burned his car to the ground doing some spirited driving up the local mountains. Turbine is unshielded and too close to the hood insulation. It's tough to balance "just get the project done" and "seemingly small details can cause massive setbacks I'm not willing to deal with".
