Centre Gauges

just wondering whether is it actually legal to mount gauges on the centre of the dash on R33s like those in the R34 GTT or the old Z. seen it done on some cars but not sure if its legal or not

Long as it dont get in the way... like so you can still see your bonnet... mount em in ya dash i say, looks awesome...

lol truu but im not really willing to cut through my dash and i want to see the gauges as well. good for tuning tho and for passengers

i seriously doubt any passengers will care what your oil pressure or water temp is lol

pretty sure its illegal if they block your view or sit higher than the cluster part of your dash but dont quote me on that

i heard they have to be level or lower than your oem instrument cluster and be secure. if in doubt ring the pits and get the word straight from the horse's mouth

truu yeh they definitely have to be secured i got da holder dat fits da middle of my dash which looks factory n can hold 52mm gauges and can also be adapted to fit 60mm ones will they defect that still?
