Gdya guys, the other day I was cruising along when petrol fumes filled the cabin. I had the window slightly down but I was sure it was unburnt furl. I had a look under the bonnet, no smell and no leaks. I then opened the filler cap and heard no hisssss. Does any1 elses make a hisss (the tank wasnt full might I add). Some of the guys at work also experience this petrol smell but i dont think any car shud do this unless somthing is wrong. Funily enuf my mate ran into the back of me recently on the RHR quarter (same side as the filler). I was wondering if the plastic filler hose was cracked although there is no visible leak.... please help before my car combusts lol.

it could be the seal that's around the fuel filler neck. when your car is complianced they remove the filler neck insert and replace it one that accomdates Australian sized fuel nozzle's... usually this seal isn't very good and will leak when you make hard turns. try pulling out the filler neck insert and reseal it with selley's "knead it".
