Hey fellas. Was just looking for a good cheap(er) option, if possible, for lowering.

Anybody have a 2nd hand set of coilovers to suit my RS4-S??

They seem to be exceedingly hard to find, even brand new.

i have 2 sets of coilovers, a set of hks and another set of tein. im asking for $1300 for each set.

can you compare ride hight and handling for each other ?

heard tein's were shit from keyboard warriors but met a dude who had them installed on his s1 said they are wicked no crazy bounce and nice and stiff on conering,

hks no idea about them

Ive heard the teins are a good combo of stiff without being uncomfortable whereas the HKS are a much firmer ride and become very annoying when used in general street driving. But thats just what Ive heard, never experience either.

If I can get the money together soon enough, Ill grab this set of teins but we'll just have to wait and see...

There is 3 different models of Teins for the Stagea. The most common ones are the "Wagon" version and have 4kg springs F & R. I have these and find them very comfy.

The other Tein models have heavier springs and shocks giving a harder ride. The HKS will be probably be firm as well

the tein set i have are the wagon type. 4kg front and rear. stiffer than standaed suspension but still a comfortable ride.

don't forget he has an rs4-s, too. means he needs eye bottom fronts and fork bottom (gtr/260rs style) rears
