Well done on the time :(

What box are you using? What rev limit? I noticed that you are well into 4th over the finish line.

600awhp should see you deep into the low-10's, if not high-9's; however, your 130mph trap speed seems a little low for the power.

nice going!

=)

did a 10,97 133mph run myself last summer, twin setup, with stock bottom end.

now im building a new car, billet engine,2,6, big cams, autronic sm4 ecu etc etc.

and a borg warner turbo i thought i would use.

actually the same one as you, a 372 right?

what exhaust housing do you have on it?

im planning on getting in the 8-900hp region

when do you have boost with this turbo? or when does hell break loose?=)

did you build your own manifold for it, or is possible to buy one and this turbo fits without modifications?

more pics of the engine turbosetup would be great!

specs of the engine also

cheers!

the turbo says Borg Warner S400 sticker exhaust S372. it's a mix turbo.

start seeing boost at 4,000rpm - full boost on 5,200rpm

the engine has stocks pistons and rods.

ok, did you make your own manifold for it or did you buy a manifold and what kind then?

it's a S372 with a S400 label. I did not understand well about it. But I am very happy with the turbo and the whole car.

We look foward for better times when the track is open again.

Does anyone knows what we have to do in order to make 1.3x on 0-60f with slicks ? Which way to do a good burn out without damage the case, etc. ?

Do you used this car in the street, and if you used how do you feel the car with this setup Borg Warner s372. and if you can write about the spec of this turbo s372 you know compresor housing, exhaust and A/R ect...?

The car feels perfect on the street with Borg Warner mix turbo...It could perform 0-62mph in less than 3.2secs on regular ADVAN NEOVA 265/35r18.

If you need any addiotal info about the turbo please contact Lenny or Damian at TD Autowerkes

from what ive been seeing people seem to use the smaller ones or bigger ones.. not much around in the middle (368-374) it will be interesting to see the differance from my t04z to a 372....

pitty they are uber expensive here from the dollar. i got a quote from nz. $3450nzd!!!! lol.

    • It's something we all have to consider as time marches on. Also consider lifted rally MX5 conversion at that point.
    • I should be fine for a few more years, whilst I do have arthritis I also exercise and do mobility training every day to keep as fit and healthy as I can, military life, which is the actual cause of most of my joint issues, has set daily regimes, which I weirdly enjoy I also train alot smarter now, not really focusing on lots strength or puffy muscles, I'm more focused on maintaining what I have for my future older self, I actually train as much mobility now as I do exercising Check out this "simple" drill I have been doing daily prior to training now for a while now, this has worked wonders in my all round mobility
    • I'd say one thing that may make you sell is the same reason the guy with the hard top roof sold his. He got old, and his back was giving him too much grief stopping him getting in and out... Old guy said he was 73! He looked and sounded younger than 73 to me! Or maybe I'm just aligning with old people more...
    • Already looked at a few prior to getting the MX5, really nice car, had all the mod cons, but I wasn't really sold on the new "look" I did miss my 2017 Limited, and I personally prefer the "look" of the older car over the new model, but, when pondering I kept going back looking at MX5's But it was same same for the new ND's, I wasn't sold on the new "look", especially the RF with its weird roof, which only half goes down, like a targa top sort of thing As I stated before, I did look at NC's, but the cars I looked at were PRHT's, but I didn't like their roof line "look" of the PRHT, until I saw the soft top version, (someone on SAU posted a for sale ad for one with a soft top that caught my attention, you can blame them for my choice.....🤣) and.... that old style detachable hard tops were available for them, which keeps the old MX5 more smoother flowing roof line, and the more rounded body style, similar to the NA-NB, to me, the arse end of the ND looks to "modern" Much like how I prefer the NC1 front bar, over the later models How long will I keep this car for is unknown, but currently, there's nothing else out there that "floats my boat" for a small, fun, little "sports car", that I can play with and enjoy looking at and driving But, who knows what the future holds, and going off current new car styling, if I replace it, it will be a older model something something
