it'll be the little valve for your air con

the teeth on the gears become worn and the valve like clicks for a few seconds and then stops

you have to take you whole dash out to fix it so most people just ignore it

its not anything to worry about

you can actually remove that clicking noise, look up from the passenger floor behind the dash towards the heater core, (its covered in plastic) you will notice a few plugs just unplug one turn ur ignition on if the clicking is still there plug it bback in and unplug another one there is about 2 from memory and it does not effect your heating or cooling...., there hopefull solver clicking amongst 10-15 r33's

Mine is series 2.

hmm so its a common problem for the R33s.

just find that noise very annoying eventhough it only makes it once in awhile

Mine does it everytime I start the car and when I change aircon modes,

I've gotten use to it, but people always think the car is going to blow up or something.

Can't be bothered ripping out the whole dash for one single cog.

If anyone asks what it is, just tell them its the NOS solonoid priming the system :)

I had one of my mates convinced that what it was....had to tell him the truth eventually though :P
