predator
very awesome article.. Its starting to take off pretty large in the US now. Unfortunately when a drift training day was attempted to be organised in melbourne, it had to be cancelled due to lack of interest .. hmmm.. i like this tidbit though But for Kazunori, the answer is clear: The game is better because it drifts better. So much better, in fact, that GT4 will have a brand-new Drift Battle mode: a D1-like event, with virtual judges scoring the contestants' competence and flair. "Drifting exists in the world, as do competitions," Kazunori says. "Not including them in Gran Turismo 4 would be unnatural." i think i just creamed myself.. There is also another drift game coming out too. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/24977-anyone-here-read-wired/#findComment-530788 Share on other sites

Ait
Remember guys...on the track only. Not on the streets. It's a sad story whenever someone runs a kerb/lamp post or even worse a human. Besides think of the amount of suspension work and money wasted if you hit a kerb! Ait
Is it true because the GTRs waxed the holdens and fords at Bathurst, that's why they banned all other cars? Sorry, am not very clear with aussie car racing history. If that's the case, then well....hahahaa...sore loosers. Looser with a capital L. funkymonkey
well popular theory is that the GTR's were too good, but in reality it was more along the lines of management wanted to divide the field into equal playing fields etc Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/24977-anyone-here-read-wired/#findComment-535880 Share on other sites
