Idle Vacume???? Help

Just wondering, whether others with an r33 gtst are rearong at abou -0.5 bar when the cvar is at idle. Is this normal.

my 30det does this also,crimped rocker hose once and lost oil pressure at idle,scary stuff

the pcv valve (just back from vvt solinoid on inlet side of motor) is plumbed into the inlet manifold ,at idle ur motor is like a NA and is sucking air into the engine ,the plenum is under vacuum until boost is applied

I believe that is normal. It happens on my and my mate's R33s anyways. With a more accurate digital boost gauge, idle it is around -0.6 bar

yeah on idle mines sitting at -.6 bar and at peak reads bout .5 bar.. and my stock gauge on idle is less than -.5 bar.. after market gauge is HKS...

u should never have boost at iddle , even at 3-4000 rpm u wont have boost unless u have some load on the engine .

when ur going at say 100 kmh in third as soon as u take ur foot off the eccelerator u r boost goes too then u have vacium in the manifold .
