800cc Injectors Too Big?

Just a quick question, is it possible to have Injectors that are too big for your application?

I have come across some 800cc injectors for my GTST, i will be running around 220-250 rwkw soon, i have read lots about injectors not flowing enough, but will injectors too big have any affect?

What ecu? I expect injector control on most aftermarket ecu's is pretty good these days

Forgot, Running Power FC with all other usual mods too (exh, front mount, ebc, etc)

tuned properly, it should be fine, I'd think 250 more than 220 though. Give you head room for that RB30 conversion........lol

Will be getting it professionally tuned. Will be running closer to 250 than 220rwkw in the end with new turbo set up.

What sort of injector are they?

Better to go bigger than smaller, saves buying bigger ones later on.

To give you an idea

440cc would be more than enough

A correctly set up PFC will handle them no problems but unless you plan on doing a lot more work, it really is overkill.

I'd go the 800cc injectors, that way you can use E85 if you have it in your area.

Plus you have head room for bigger upgrades. I regret buying 555cc injectors.

there is nothing wrong with mine, I think I might not worry about chasing more power. And the fact that we barely have 98ron fuel here, I doubt we'll get E85 anytime soon
