errr did you use wet and dry? You have to buff it with plastx or something similar as well....

i used glassylite about 1 week ago, can post up pics here when im home tonight if anyone wants them. will report back in a few months to see what the progress is.

Got pics? im about to do mine with glassylite will post before and after if i remember.

*Is it worth wet sanding first before glassylite?

sorry forgot, and at work now so no pics but i can tell you that you should follow their instructions properly + probably sand longer than they recommend. cos mine were quite yellow, now they're just a little hazy but white. and i think that's cos i didn't sand them long enough, my arms got really tired and i thought i'd done enough ahahha. so one headlight is better than the other (learning from experience) - BUT neither are crystal clear, so maybe it's my fault...or glassylite doesn't work that well not sure!

Is there any progress with acquiring a good sealant by itself? There are heaps of products mentioned that will remove the yellowing...

Just did mine, they wern't looking so bad i gave them a wax last time i did the car which helped out a bit, should definitely sand for a lot longer than they recommended i probably went 15 minutes per side. Couldn't get my phone to work in the comp but they came up pretty nice.

yeap looks about right, mine is prob midway between your before/after cos I only sanded for ~5mins MAX haha, I reckon 15-20min solid sanding would be good. having said that, even yours doesn't look crystal clear - is this too much to expect of old faded lenses? or is it that this product isn't as good as we thought. opinions?

Compared to what mine looked like 3 weeks ago they look magnificent. I think the fact the plastic is 20 years old and has some wear and tear will stop them looking brand new but i think glassylite worked fine. Maybe an extra 10 mins sanding per side or as the op suggested using 4 grades of sandpaper would probably help that extra bit. If you have any sealant left over maybe give it another crack with the sanding.

yeah will defintely be giving it a second go, but every weekend i've got other things to do like remove acid rain stains from the glass by hand etc....so buggered by the end ahha it has to wait for the next week. But having said that glassylite DOES work just the degree of result is up for debate!

Guys I need to do this to the Honda Euro we have, and was thinking of putting the 3M paint protector clear vinyl stuff over the headlight once cleaned.

I reckon this should work quite well as the 3M stuff is UV protected and virtually invisible.
