Wow very good effort by both RBR drivers in Q3.

We have Vettel in pole with 1:36.1

and mark Webber in 3rd with 1:36.4 with Alonso splitting them in 2nd.

Lets just hope now that Mark makes it through the first corner without incident.

I liked how in the conference Webber said its good to have Vettel, or the "young guy" pushing him this season.

What is the bet Alonso will be a huge pain in the ass for the RBR guys, and i am guessing is the lightest based on his practice and Q2 pace. SO if Mark cant clear him then he will instantly be back around 5th or 6th as i think the RBR cars are lighter then the Brawns as well and will be jumped in pit stops.

LOL, i dont even need to watch the race, i know what going to happen already:)

But, i would not be surprised if Vettel picks up his second GP win tomorrow with Webz on for a 4th, maybe a podium

Damn missed qualy since it was on so early.

When do they post car weights?

Alonso did time 7 tenths faster in q2 so shouldnt be too light. Hope the new-improved R29 without kers is more competitive.

Great to see RedBull up there :)

Do we have a list of the teams who have already modified their diffusers?

1. Sebastian Vettel, Red Bull, 644kg

2. Fernando Alonso, Renault, 637

3. Mark Webber, Red Bull, 646.5

4. Rubens Barrichello, Brawn GP, 661

5. Jenson Button, Brawn GP, 659

6. Jarno Trulli, Toyota, 664.5

7. Nico Rosberg, Williams, 650.5

8. Kimi Raikkonen, Ferrari, 673.5

9. Lewis Hamilton, McLaren, 679

10. Sebastien Buemi, Toro Rosso, 673

11. Nick Heidfeld, BMW Sauber, 679

12. Heikki Kovalainen, McLaren, 697

13. Felipe Massa, Ferrari, 690

14. Kazuki Nakajima, Williams, 682.7

15. Sebastien Bourdais, Toro Rosso, 690

16. Nelson Piquet, Renault, 697.9

17. Robert Kubica, BMW Sauber, 659

18. Adrian Sutil, Force India, 648

19. Timo Glock, Toyota, 652

20. Giancarlo Fisichella, Force India, 679.5

So Vettel has now out quaoified Webber 3-0, if you include fuel its probably 2-1. Old Rubens fuelled heavier but with a better lap looks good for the win if he can get off the line and capitalise on all the mess that will result from Webber going backwards off the line :)

Come on Webber, would so love to see him get a win

Depends where you qualify. If you havea quick car and stuck in traffic then you are losing tenths of not seconds each lap. Throw a light fuel load in, soft tyres and have a go at getting on the front two rows and getting a stormer of a start and try to do a bit of a dash.

If you pit 7 laps into the race you are going to come out at the tail of the field with no traffic to hold you up meaning you can punch out laps as quick as tyre conservation will allow. IF you come up on a car then they will be back markers so easier to pass, and the cars ahead will be peeling off ahead of you. Then at the end of the race your car will be at its quickest and ready to race while everybody else will be carrying a wounded car on shit tyres.

Trust me, i am the supreme son of rajab of strategy :P

Looks exactly like what RBR and Alonso have done.. fuel it light and try to dash away at the start. We'll find out soon if it works for them! My tip is the Brawn cars to menace them until they pit and then leapfrog them after the stops (as you said later). I don't feel that an early pit stop is a good option but I'm happy to be proven wrong!! ;)
