Mines all put back together

been slack with taking pics

just used $2 matt black export on my grill and other mesh bits, along with the cooler

hasnt cracked or chipped off yet and my car is daily driven

I took mine to my local radiator shop and they sprayed my cooler for $10.... did a good job too!!

from an engineering point of view i woulda thought the paint would lower the heat transfer from the cooling fins a lot. unless the paint is really thin or you go to aluminium anodizing. has anyone noticed any performance difference after doing this??

i was thinking this too

but your only really coating the front and the back and not the fins in the middle and they are what does most of the cooling anyway

Mines been powder coated and it still cools fine...18psi 250+rwkw etc..

I also recommend powder coating - i've done the intercooler and all pipework in my RX7 and cooling is fine, espeically given the rotary is renowned for having issues at high temps

3oorwkw through a hybrid gt spec and painted satin black... no difference at all
