blu plastic stuff... on the back of your metal thing...?

wanna be a bit more descrptive?? :D

You know that big squarish metal thing? lol. The one you have to mount somewhere in your car? Has like all the cables connecting to it. Well on the back of that it had blue plastic stuff. A bit like when you get a new phone, or a new ipod and it has that plastic stuff over the screen. It's a bit like that except this is blue. I left it there but now i'm starting to wonder if its going to just melt when my engine gets hot.

Funny you should ask that, i had another person who had a H1 and a H3C bulb in their car.

He ordered 1x H1 BOSCH KIT

1x Pair H3C BOSCH bulbs.

R32Abuser i think his user name was, just ask him.

That was $298.65

Finally got around to install my BOSCH HID kit and charge my battery.

The drivers side is the 6000k bulb and the passenger is 5000k.

Would it be possible if you or other forum members were able to post pics of the light against a wall of the bosch unit? Just curious if there is some sort of cutoff on these units when installed in skylines. Thanks!

IMO these do not glare as much as the cheaper brands because the place in the bulb where the light is created, is further up on the bulb.

That extra 4mm or so makes all the difference.

This means light does not escape around the shield when looking from an angle. Ill post some pics when i get my car on the road.

I tried taking pics of them at night time but i realised my photography skills aren't that flash! It's a lot harder to take decent photos at night with the HID's shining. Ill try to get my mate who has a good camera to take some photos, see how those turn out....

Inline with GB rules about having a start & end date - this is now closed.

SAU is clamping down on these GB's that never occur, never end, and so on.

PM me if you have a problem. However, before you PM me think about this.

A group buy, is a group of people buying the product together to lower the price.

Buying single units here and there is not what constitutes a GROUP BUY

Thanks

    • Yeah the issue here is that we have a lot of topics, unless we matched on the exact word & phrase we'd get a million topics and the one you want will not likely be in the top 20 or so.
    • Yeah great idea, I have already added R32 Wiring Diagram but we can add as many as we want. 100% ! This has been something I've wanted to do for a while. I thought we could have a way for people to 'suggest' a link be added to the library when they come across something good.  We could kick this along by allowing members (maybe a subset) to tag threads they find to allow us to more easily find/locate/use good content, ie a tag 'for-library' which can then be added to the library and maybe have the tags reviewed and updated to better match the content. This would make it easier then to find the content when not using the library. We can also create pages that have lists of content with specific tags. That would allow us to add a tag and then have it automatically added to a page. We could have a page just for the 'for-library' content that we could then moderate and put wherever.  This excites me, the lack of structure with the amount of content is a little overwhelming.
    • Of course you can. That was a waste. Straight down one oil drain gallery and out the sump hole. Could at least have run the engine a little (obviously with at least minimum oil level on the stick).
    • Oh really? Maybe I'm being silly. I'll get some more shots. I had it higher but found that it went too high after a drive, I never knew this but exhausts can move around a bit when hot (makes sense, just never knew) and when it was higher it would make nice cooking plastic smells. That said, I could put some heat tape on a'la 90's R33 exhausts     Ha, I've spent a lot of my life in castle hill waiting for cars to be done. I think I'd prefer something closer but thanks D.
    • @Duncan Yes, changed filter every time. I don't have the service manual for the car yet (Car was imported and they removed everything when importing). I've been using the oil change threads in the forum as reference.   @Milkmun The second oil change was after ~4 months after the first months and I wasn't sure about reusing engine oil that was opened. The third oil change happened within 3 weeks of the second oil change and I used the previous leftover oil to just "clean up" the system. (Poured it through while the sump plug was open")
