yeah I had mini hail... like about 2mm across

and yeah it stopped (as I posted above) and then came back, just as I was trying to drive to Dickson... Northbourne Ave was like trying to do a river crossing...I now have all this plastic hanging off underneath my car from the force of the water ripping it down

Well it appears it rained in Gungahlin and our roof started leaking again  No bed for us last night, it soaked through the Doona and into the mattress and my light is now hanging from the ceiling... Looks like the ugliest chandelier you've ever seen.

Stupid rain!

Nice, I'm assuming that your house can't be anymore than 5 or 6 years old.

Yep its just under 5 years old. It happened once before in the same spot and it was a cracked roof tile that got replaced... NFI why it's happened again but I'm not happy!

We had to camp out on the sofa bed in the loungeroom in case it rained during the night!!

grrr bloody storm ....

I just got back from melbourne today to find that I have no broadband internet .... grrrr bloody storm knocked out the whole ACT dodo broadband network ... very very very gay ....

allready went 2 weeks without internet in melb to come back to have no broadband it sucks

My dad saw lightning strike a electricity pole with a transformer on it in Mitchell. Sparks flew everywhere. Best thing was this was just outside the new ford spare parts place and builders next door were working of the building next door which was just a metal frame. They just stood there looking and the looked at each other then decided it would be best to get off the very large lightning rod. I woke up to it and looked out side and it looked like fog it was so heavy ><

Wow, sounds like fun... you will never find me commenting on storms because i tend to hide... under beds, in cupboards and if i am in a car i curl up, block my ears, close my eyes and if i still her thunder i then cry... yes as you can tell i HATE storms, actually hate is an understatememnt....i am absolutely 100% petrified of storms lol... But that is what you get when a storm makes a tree collapse the roof above where you were happily playing nintendo 64 when ou are about 11 years old!!!
