Im looking to get more power out of my rb20det, its running a td05 big 16g at the moment making about 205kw at the wheel.. the link below shows the dyno sheet of a 221kw @ 23psi run that ended up with detonation so we cut the boost back a bit.

All mods are on this link:

I believe the 'older' Link ecu is to blame as their website states ver 5 links can only boost to around 23psi at most.. I dont want to turn this into a LINK ECU bashing thread but rather whats the best cost effective way of reaching around 250wkw with my current setup..

Obvious ideas at the moment are:

upgrade to a better ecu

bigger turbo

upgrade to greddy or similar intake plenum

Are there other options I've overlooked???

Im personally thinking of getting a bigger turbo and to hell with the lag (got plenty already as you can see in the dyno graph) I dont have to stay with the mitsi turbo's, can easily snatch up a standard exhaust manifold for cheap and revert back to the original flange setup.. But am lost as to what turbo to get, can the turbo guru's help me out on this one? Thanks..

Alright so an 18G compressor will fit into a Td05 will it? sounds very tempting although i've got a cheap chinesy turbo on at the moment so dont wanna throw any money at that.. can you or anyone recommend a turbo similar to a Td05 with 18G compressor that I can buy new?
