if the car's already in your name then you won't need a rwc. I didn't need one and neither did they want to sight the car.

get a roadworthy (these days they are electronic so register all over australia) then ring vicroads and make an appointment for registration. they will get ur details. then they will instruct u what u need to do. 9 times out of 10 its just bring ur old plates and documentation and pay for rego and plates when u do the transfer.
