what did you get done for?? and where... ive got sum spare h1 globes and fitting plates.. jsut a matter of pulling off your pos and neg wires off your ballast (not illigal to have random wires) weve got sum stock suspension, stock coolers, and if they wona b hell priks might have to get our turbo mission on

yeh intercoolers are fine as long as:

1. reo bar isn't hacked up

2. everything tight and nothing hanging under the bumper

3. the cut holes for the piping are neat and treated so they don't rust

Well when i went to regency, took it totally back to stock, replaced suspension, pretty much all bushes, all exaust mounts, everything. and they still got something on me.

my advice, take off what you can. and just go, and get the list they give you! then they cannot search for anything else, got that advice from a compliance shop!.

otherwise u just end up spending like 4k like i did on parts etc, to just take them off and put brand new parts in shed after regency.

ok so i went in today for my inspection. as i thought they did me for my turbo not to fussed about that as it is not stock and i will cop no i just have to put my old one on. the two other 2 things i got done for which im pretty pissed off about is my BOV (which is plumbed back into its original position) was classified as a defect as its not the original one. he didnt care that my old one leaked and that my car backfired all the time. the other thing im a bit suprised about is that i have to put on my old stock boost controller as having the vacume line go from the wastegate to the intercooler pipe was not good enough.

the things i didnt get done for were my front mount, my 4 piston front brakes, my exhaust which funnily enough he only did by ear.

now for the hillarious part. once i finish this write up im about to start removing and replacing my turbo. on my defect notice it states that i have to have an O.E.M certified report. this means that once i put the old turbo on i have to go to nissan and have them certify the turbo is the standard one. i thought that was the whole reason we take our car to get inspected. if they cant tell if it's the standard one on there how can they tell if i don't have a standard one. now i have to ring around all the nissan dealerships and see if they can do this or not.

just the ang the mob i brought the car from and they will certify it after i change it at a cost of $110. nissan said they would only certify it they supplied me with a (BRAND NEW) one. i politly hung up and swore afterwards
