the series 2 na block will be fine

the only reason people like the series 2 na blocks is that they have the coolant feed and oil feed and return already pre-drilled and tapped ready to go for the turbo. It just one less thing to worry about.

so wats the differencne between the series two block and the turbo block. i had some one telling me that the is something to do with the oil gallieries or squirters or something

The RB30 doesn't have oil squirters in any of the blocks.

The turbo has lower compression compared to the NA, so it is a poor choice if you are retaining standard bottom end. Since you are going to be rebuilding with new pistons/rods etc it wouldn't matter which block you used. Though I think the mentality is that a non turbo block has probably had an easier life compared to a turbo block.
