Z32 Afm And Plug

I got a 2nd hand Z32 AFM which has 5 pins on it. Then i got a Z32 plug 2nd hand from another guy and i just realised that it has 6 pins and there is no way it will plug into the Z32....

A: what the hell?????

B: what can i do? Is there a way to pull the pins out of the plug? Can i just cut down the plug so it will fit?

go and get a air flow meter plug of a vl or a r31 skyline . same config

can some one tell me if the Z32 should have 5 pins or 6?

The plug off a vl has 6 pins also. im starting to think i didn't buy a z32. But it does have a orange sticker on it.

shotter post the model number of afm you bought and we can tell you if its a Z32 or a RB25

I have figured out what happened. the AFM is a Z32, the plug i have is for a Z32. the problem is someone soldered a 5 pin plug onto the AFM. So now im off to the wreckers to see if i can get a Z32 plug for the AFM.

rb30 plug will be cheaper and is exactly the same

Is it possible that they soldered a 5 pin polug onto the z32 to make it a plug in arrangement to an rb25?

Well i have got my hands on a 5 pin wiring loom. So i will solder that on tonight.
