Hey guys i just got my car up and running today took it for a drive around my block to see nothigns leaking etc its got a Power FC thats not tuned and has done the learning thing, Z32 AFM, Nismo 740c injectors and Apexi Power FC boost controller kit and HKS 2535 and front mount....as i was taking it around the block when i press the accelerator the car would splutter lose power and not rev but if i was sitting still the car would be idling fine and if i free reved it like when not in gear it'd rev? mmmm so have i fouled the spark plugs ? my plugs are 7 heat rating coppers with a gap of 0.8 and when i free rev it theres alot of smoke coming out the exhaust black smoke.

So lemme get this right...

Untuned PFC... with Z32, 740's etc etc.

I think getting it tuned would be a good idea. Im not even sure why you would take it around the block.

With those bigger injectors it would be dumping fuel in. And unless you have changed the AFM value in the PowerFC it will be getting the wrong air flow reading too.

Yes PFC is not self learning.....get a tune.

As pointed out, the PowerFC does not self-learn. It's quite surprising that it even idles that well to be honest. Get it towed to a tuner and then let us know the results.

lol, the injectors need to be dialed in... It will be dumping massive amounts of fuel in.

Also, same for hte AFM.

Needs a tune!

alright boys i took it around the block to see if the car has any leaks etc if everythign is running perfectly guess ill have to wait to the 5th for the tune

Did you at least tell the FC that you have the Z32 and 740s?

yeah i did i set it on Z32 AFM on the PFC and my injector values are like 60% and +0.20ms hence why it idled
