o.k guys i have a autotechnica steering wheel and its pissing me off cause its so ugly..(came with the car)... bought a mint stock steering wheel for my r32 gtst yesterday and wanna put it on now.

can some one tell me how to take off the autotechnica one and put the stock one on. really dunno where to start. any help appreciated. thanks bru!! i'm parched is bru!!

maybe take a photo of the wheel? sorry if there is as i cant see pics at work

but there should be some allen key bolts/screws which hold the steering wheel onto the boss kit. you undo these bolts/screws and the wheel should come off the boss kit. then the boss kit is usually held in with one massive nut thing. undo the nut and the boss kit comes off

then use that massive nut and use it to bolt the stock steering wheel back on

EDIT: just had a look at some of the autotechnica wheels and saw some that have a cover over the allen key screws. if thats the case, then im guessing you use a flat head screwdriver and pry open the middle part with the autotechnica logo and it should reveal the screws

alright i'm stuck guys....took off the autotechnica wheel along with the bolt in the middle that holds the boss kit on...but the boss won't come off? it full on attached to something. how do u take it off? and how do u attach the stock steering wheel back on? help lol

spray some wd40 on to the thing that the nut was bolted to and lit it sit for a little while, then pull. its not the easiest thing to get off.

for the stock steering wheel, pop the little horn bit out with a flat head screwdriver and then push the steering wheel onto the rod that is sticking out which the nut goes onto. then just tighten

lolz awesome man ur a legend...all done now...though really helped with taking off the boss kit if the steering wheel was on it still...i reattached the steering wheel and it came straight off with a tug of the steering wheel lolz. thanks man.

one more question...i put the steering wheel on and it seems that now the wheel has to be held abit to the right to drive straight. is there away to straghten it up?
