megar32
Hi guys I need to install a Wideband Bung for tuning purposes. Is this a good place (Red spot) for an install? It's the only place that seems logical where I can get values from all 6 cylinders. Piggaz
Hmm. I have mine mounted on the rear branch (cyl 4 to 6) of the front pipes.... VERY close to the end. Seems to work allright. I dont know if yours if any better/worse. Adriano
Mount it further back, and above the horizontal, other wise the sensor will point down and get snapped off if you drive it. Make sure you get all 6 cylinders. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/250697-wideband-bung-installation-question/#findComment-4342535 Share on other sites
Peter
Is that behind the CAT? - if so I don't think you can mount it there....it has to be mounted prior to the CAT to obtain correct A/F ratios. Also, it needs to be mounted between 10 and 2 - if it is mounted any lower, then condensation in the exhaust pipe (when car is left over night etc.) will damage the sensor when it pre-warms prior to engine start.
