was washing my car today and noticed a couple of tiny rust spots on the roof near the rear window. made me kinda sad :action-smiley-069:

i know it wouldnt help that i live about 5mins walk from the sea and dont have a garage to put it under ;) hoping to move out of my parents home into a place with a garage soon tho a bit furthur inland. what course of action should i take to stop them from getting bigger, or getting rid of them all together?

cheers

I have a couple of rust spots on my 34 at the rear near where the mud flap/pods were ... they're not tiny either, I've already broken of 1cm chunks of rusted metal. what's the best way to stop this rot from spreading any further .. panel beaters?

The whole roof being resprayed looks better than half/quarter of a roof resprayed. Especially since the sun (on a roof) is likely to have caused a slight colour change. Cheap method is to see if the panelbeater can get rid of surface rust and touch it up = temp. measure tho'
