My gtr has had a engine change, i wanted to know how i can find exactly what model it is out of by using the engine number? RB2615039A

Hi...1.Its a GTR, i'd shoot anyone in the head if theyd do a swap to anything else lesser of its original. 2.the first four characters of ur engine number say alot about the model.i.e, RB26.a.k.a.TwinTurboed (unless tampered with) Godzilla! Watchout!

I was more after if it was out of a 33, having a better oil pump

Cant be checked via engine number unfortunately

There really isnt any way to tell other than measuring the oil pump drive width on the crank - and I doubt you want to do that.

There is a thread somewhere here that points out a difference in the diameter of a heater pipe at the rear of the motor but even that would be a lot of effort to check

I don't think i'll bother measuring the width of the oil pump drive anytime soon lol thanks anyway
