Is Exhuast With One Rear Cannon Muffler Legal?

just curious if you have a cat back exhust sys with just the end cannon muffler and no mufflers in the middle is that legal in vic

With only a rear cannon it will be ridiculously loud. Therefore, no, it will not be legal.

well mine atm is alreadi ova da legal sound limit with 2 mufflers im wanting to know if there is like a minium number of mufflers that you have to have, i seem to think that its atleast 1 muffler

As long as you have one in QLD and its under the limit than its legal, i would assume it would be the same in VIC

You have 2 main laws to consider - noise and emissions. Noise is 91dB IIRC, and emissions you "basically" have to have an ADR approved catalytic converter.

If you can get under 91dB with a cat and one muffler good luck to you.

I run 1 muffler and a cat...it's legal.

As said as long as your db is ok and it'll pass epa, nps

That's a split front dump and full nismo system with oval muffler.

i run a 4" bellmouth dump into a 3" front, decat pipe, 3" rear and a genie cannon only and i get 89db @ idle

its crazy loud @ WOT though...

yeah thanks thats what i wanted to know. noise wise im well over already so I dont care I just dont want to get done when they check if I have 1 muffler
