we sold a set of HSDs to a customer who dropped his lap time on the QR sprint circuit by nearly 2 seconds after getting them installed and enabling the car to be better corner balanced.

ausum i just wana have em for maybe getin out on track for a day and mainley coz my stock rear shocks keep blowing and it handels shit.

wat prices do u sell them for??

I have just put the HR Series into my '95 R33.

I have done one track day at barbagallo (WA) and found the base setting to be way too stiff in the rear.

they feel really good but are way to hard for the road.

I am going back to the track in 2 weeks for a tuning day and we will try tuning it in better. I am looking forward to better times once we fine tune it a bit better.

back ground is that this car is registered but will only be used for track days.

If you were mostly using your car for the road then i would go for the HS Series.

tbh if ur interested in "tuning" them id try and see if u can get them on a shock dyno, cheap dampers like these generally have pretty poor adjustment, not all of the adjustments will have an "acceptable" curve, in fact in some in some cheap damper dynos ive seen theres only been one setting with anything even resembling a proper curve. they seem to have a base adjustment, and all the adjustments from there have progressively worse curves.

id be finding the base adjustment with the best curve and just sticking with that, regardless of how hard or soft it is, a lot of the difference between the soft and hard settings can just be high frequency which gives the feeling of a harder setting, but doesnt actually control roll much if any more, and can just cause worse traction.
