amosite
30G is a rotary turbo from what I gather! Best used on higher exhaust gas engines with lower boost threshold Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/25096-trust-td07-30g/#findComment-537412 Share on other sites
rob77
Most people use a 20 or 25G exhaust housing on their rb25's, I have a 16cm^2 td06-20g and I find that a bit laggy, I would suggest the 10 or 12cm^2 housing's. Husky33
Thanx guys. I found a DR30 skyline with a FJ20DET fitted with a Trust TD07-30G, along with loads of other Trust perforance mods for $13000. Just wondering if this is a good price and what power could i expect roughly.........Cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/25096-trust-td07-30g/#findComment-537485 Share on other sites

R32-GTS
I just saw yesterday a TD07 with the biggest exhaust housing iv'e ever seen. Was bigger than the comp cover. Im thinking nothing but a rotor would be able to spool that thing up. Iv'e just bought a TD06 20g for mine with the smaller exhaust housing so should be a good thing. R32-GTS
All i know rob its a TD06 20g with the smallest exhaust housing. Its about the same size as a vg30 exhaust housing so should spool up ok on a rb20. rob77
I think the smallest is a 10cm^2 or a 8cm^2. You can tell because inside of the exhaust housing the number will be stamped in there. This is how I found out mine was a 16cm^2 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/25096-trust-td07-30g/#findComment-541664 Share on other sites
R32-GTS
Rob it has a 8 stamped in the exhaust housing. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/25096-trust-td07-30g/#findComment-541692 Share on other sites
Roy
R32-GTS, be interesting to see how your engine will fare with the TD06-20g 8cm compared to the 10cm ex. housing that in have on my RB20. Your engine a stocka with the usual bolt ons...? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/25096-trust-td07-30g/#findComment-541999 Share on other sites
rob77
8cm? Heh, should be about half the size of mine then Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/25096-trust-td07-30g/#findComment-542045 Share on other sites
R32-GTS
Yeh its a small housing on it. Still big at the front though. Apparently a few cars have gone 400 at the wheels with one of these turbo's with the small exhaust housing. And yeh motor is stock just got bolt on's but should have some cams in it soon and the Power FC. R32-GTS
IF the 8cm exhaust is too small then i will fit a 10cm exhaust too it Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/25096-trust-td07-30g/#findComment-542195 Share on other sites
sweetr33
so did anyone manage to get any info about the TD07????? Ive heard of TD07-25G, which would be better suited to the RB25 i would imagin. Any info would be interesting Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/25096-trust-td07-30g/#findComment-913449 Share on other sites
Roy
TD07 refers to the turbine size, and basically means big. The 30G refers to compressor size and basically means big. Whether the 25G wheel on the TD07 is the same as on the T67 im not sure. If you are having trouble finding info on the TD07, try a search for the T78, basically the same thing, a bit like the TD06-25G and the T67-25G.
