how far did you get, where are you stuck. Have you removed the A/C control module yet (pulls right out, use a hook)..

it maybe better to post this in the electronics forum where Chris Rogers can tell you if you make a bit more of an effort

and post a picture of how far you have got.

Theres a detailed tutorial in the Audio and electrical section to guide you - have you read it? And using that guide the R34 stereo removal takes all of about 3 minutes from start to finish.

Pop out the air vent with a flat head and a cloth.

Take out the ash tray, remove the screw under that.

Pop out the gear surround with a flat head and a cloth near your handbrake.

Take out the gear surround by disconnecting the wires going to your cig lighter/tiptronic button.

Four screws remove the cage, and you're done.
