A friend of mine is about to wreck an R31 Silhouette. PM me for his number if anyone needs anything before it goes to scrap. It's in Melbourne. Its got an LSD. I don't have any photos of the thing, but I'm pretty sure it looks a lot like a fairly sad R31 Silhouette.

Drew, how compatible is the diff with the C210 R180 and any idea what ratio? I'm at the point where I want an LSD but there is no cheap way out. I want 3.9 and lower. If you know of anything going let me know. Cheers Rick

Unfortunately I think the R31 diff is a very different beast.

Do like I did and find a second-hand subaru WRX clutching-type LSD centre and pop it in your existing R180 diff. Bit of fiddling round, but a diff specialist should be able to do it.

Thanks Drew, I've sent him a msg, but i'll only buy it if it's 3.9. 3.5 is to high for my kind of use.Thanks for keeping me in mind. Put all new shocks and struts in today, rides nice but I've got to replace my rear swingarm bushes,they're roooooted. Cheers Ricky

Mine's actually 4.75:1. I think it actually may have been the front diff from a 720 truck. I boot up to 185km/h and then hit the wall.

The WRX LSD Hemisphere is all you need, I'm fairly sure it would mount up to your gear set. I know the R200 LSD hemisphere is interchangeable with other R200 diffs.

PM's away. It's all still there but is now stacked on top of another car... A sorry end to what was once a fairly tidy R31.
