what would be easier.. changing the rego to your name interstate then transferring it to SA, no inspection

or

transferring from interstate rego to sa rego, inspection needed...

The first I would say. Can't remember with stamp duty on the change of name but I was shocked at the size of fees in SA compared to WA, hence why I left the car in WA rego so long. Regret changing it now due to rego costs.
