Sorry for revivng an old thread, but .. I've finnaly convinced my mate to buy the Smoked LED Tail lights from ebay.

Gonna' be hopefully recieving them sometime this week, and installing them on the weekend.

Will definately post up pics

.. Quick question .. What would be the easiest way to remove the Tail Light housing and install these tail lights ?

What would be the easiest way to remove the Tail Light housing and install these tail lights ?

MRXTCZ

remove the plastic lip/cover on your boot where the latch locks in, two clips on top and three on the inner wall connecting to the carpet trim

then remove the plastic clips holding up the carpet trim, you don't have to completely remove them, just remove enough clips so that you can push the trim covers out of the way

this will expose 4 bolts on either side of the tail lights on the inside, loosen the bolts and remove the housing.

on the driver side the power wires might be held onto one of the bolt brackets by a plastic clip which just pops out.

once you have the housings out its pretty straightforward with removing the screws, be careful not to snap the little black plastic covers on the top half of the housing, you will see what I mean when you get to it, very easy to do should only take half an hour or so for the whole job
