Side Intrusion Bars...

hey guys, can anyone post a pic of what these side intrusion bars llok like? should they be in any skyline or only certian ones depending on compliance date?

i dont think mine has them???

1st we would need to know what year skyline you have as most skylines built after 1992 have factory side intrusion bars fitted.

if you have the earlier 1 than 1992 its most likely installed with large pop rivets that are visable on the inner sides where the door locks are and in between the two door hinges. if this is visable you have compliance type fitted. if you cant see these u need to look inside the door which means removal of the door card to see if there is a solid tube or thicker type flat steel about 3" tall with small chanels running horizontal at about halfway from top and bottom of the door.

In the case you have nothing ur car would have no side intrusion protection.
