Hey!

I recently posted a thread on importing skylines and I have decided to buy locally, due to the 15 year rule and risk taking I want to physically inspect them to get the most out of my money.

I have a budget of 20K or so give or take and I am a serious buyer.

Can I please have an update on the r32 gts-t's, r33 gts-t's that are looking for a new owner, on these forums?

Im open to all suggestions, to do with that 20k, Im also considering 2L 180's, and silvias aswell.

Should I look for a stock car? or should I look for something modded slightly (Standard as, or basic mods .. filter, exhaust etc)

I'm planning to go test drive a few this weekend, so I'm doing a bit of research.

Im sorry if this thread has been posted before, but im asking for a update :) *flame suit on*

:shake:

PS - Must be a 5sp :burnout:

Nic - Paul loves his leakdown tests. :)

Adam32 is selling his within that budget too. A modded one MAY have had a harder life than a stock one, but at least you know the person has spent the time on mods, so has probably spent the time on the maintenance and understanding of their car too...

Something to think about?

dood I have a nice 1994 R33 gtst manual sitting at C-red waiting for a buyer if you are interested. Its a grade 4 i believe. maybe you can call me and have a chat about it.

0438 616 840 or email me on [email protected] and oh yeah i dont want anywhere near $20,000 for it, i just sold a series II for not much more than $20,000

so yeah its a neat clean car with a cat back and a pod and not much else done to it, i can sort you out with a kit and mags etc all for under that $20,000

Cheers for ya help, after using the 'search' button :) I Have pm'ed both rev210 and adam 32.

Caminperth: I have been a forum lurker for a while, and both of them seem to know their shit pretty well.

Im more interested in a turbo'ed one, rather than NA.

After looking in the auto trader, There is a few 94' r33's going around for 21k i might check out.

What are your opinions on buying from personal ads and import places? I guess warrenty seperates them...

A leak down test is better than a Compression test but it don't think it will tell you everything about the condition of an engine. Will tell you how well each cylinder is but other major stuff like bearing wear etc won't show up. So it's a good for some things but don't take a good leak down result as having a great engine...

Still for the $100 or so to get it done it's worth it.....
