gary McCoy is probably the best at it, of the GP guys. When he had a decent bike and was in the top 5 he was pushing really hard. Braking so hard into corners that the rear of the bike unweights and slides all over the track.

The Supermotard guys are something else. Its a completely different style of riding. The bikes only weigh 100-140kg so they are the fastest bikes through the twisties. Power is between 30 to 80hp, and being a big bore single cylinder they sound like nothing else.

that happens to a lot of guys chaos.

couple of years ago in WSBK Ben bostrom's setup was great, ass end of the bike used to sway from side to side.

dads building a supermotard right now, but we wont be backing it in like that!

that takes bulk skill.

Grrr - his kawasaki has ample power to get it sideways. Power is not the issue, its riding style, and the power delivery of the bike, setup, etc. He came from a speedway background, so thats how he always rode.

Mini Me - brand new DR650, full staintune system, Laced 17" road wheels, airbox/filter mods, rejetted, geared down, new bars, strip weight, 2nd hand race tyres, suspension at both ends, should be fun. Only got 600k's on it, so its not even run in yet. I wont ride it too much.

One of the things i love about them, is that they are cheap to crash. :(
