I'm looking at getting a oil cooler for my R32 GTR, I pretty much want the easiest place to mount it from my understanding is between the Radiator and Intercooler, and other place is passenger side wheel arch.. obviously the passenger side mount would get the best air flow, but I would rather mount it in between the radiator and I/C if it's an easier job.

What sized oil cooler (or rows) could I fit in the rad and I/C spot? I'm guessing with the passenger side mount you could mount the biggest possible oil cooler there.

I'd like to hear any other mount locations and/or any feedback on the 2 locations I've mentioned.

If only those ARC bbq front grill kits wasn't so expensive..

A few guys posted some ideas on my resto thread up top in the stickys. Only problem is you will have to search thru the thread for it. There are pics of one mounted between the rad and I/C and also pics of it mounted in the drivers side behind the brake duct. Only problem is on the GTR the stock recirculation valves live there. So thats pretty much impossible. This puts me in the same boat as you. I liked the way one guys has mounted between rad and I/C but to do it the way he has you gotta remove the P/S cooler. Not something i wanted to do. Im still deciding where to mount it. Will make the final decision after i put the engine back in and have fitted up other bits and pieces around the front.
