Just brought my 1st skyline, 4 Door R34 and very happy with it. Now one of the Xenon head lights isn't working and i'm trying to sort out what it could be. Did the basic fuse and relay checks and they seem to be ok. Tried a new globe a guy I know had but still nothing. I will swap over the globes from side to side incase the new globe is dicky but i doubt it is.

Now I have been told by 2 different people there is 12V to the head light globe plug, and it goes to high voltage after the ballast, and other people have told me its full power at the globe, which is what I think is the case. So sticking a test light into it wouldn't be the best idea. Spoke with Nissan and they had no idea about them.

Is there anywhere to look or check to see if i am getting power to and what should i look for if anyone knows. I can only guess to check power going into the head light or the ballast. I was hoping maybe to get hold of another light and check it with that to see if it is the ballast or what in order to narrow it down. Either give me pin numbers or wire colours where to check power at?? Anything at all

My first skyline experience is good, and hope I can sort it out to keep it like that, and any hints, tips or help from anyone would be great.
