Got Over 400kw Atw?

Having been driving an F6, I've often wished it was an easily transplanted engine. 4 litres helps spooling and off boost.

How very enlightening...LOL

Hi there, got my car tuned today at Pits on the gold coast.

Mods as follows.

R32 GTR

RB26 bored, decked, cleaned, balanced and the crank ground.

Ross pistons, total seal rings, Spool Conrods.

Head is mildly ported, re-seated etc etc, Tomei 270 dur 10.8 lift cams, Brian Crower springs.

N1 oil pump, tomei oil restrictor.

1200cc injectors, 2 x 044 pumps, 3L surge tank.

Haltech E11v2

STD coils at this stage

115mm intercooler, chinese one i'd say, $400

70mm Billet turbo by Mark at Mr Turbo, Gold Coast

60mm wastegate, ebay cheapie.

4 inch exhaust all the way with 1 straight thru muffler.

twin plate OS clutch.

Tuned today on E85 from the pump, made 564 Hp on 26 psi, 528 hp on 23psi, and 501 on 20psi.:cheers:

Maxed out the injectors at 26 psi, looking at ID 2000's for the next tune. hopefully crack 600 which I don't think will be a problem.

and this is with just a stock head.

my mate has got an xr6 turbo as well which has 400kw atw & the thing breaks traction @ 120kmh with an auto behind it!

with 1249hp - you'd have to take off in 6th gear

that thing is a light switch... must be fun though

a ute with 400rwkw... umm better buy shares in a tyre company!... might want to invest in Bonds as well... free lifetime supply of underwear

Yeah that'd be true Andrew, just coz they have a tray rather than back seats and a roof - think about how much that tray would weigh given it's entirely metal...

different rails than the sedan then? fair enough, suppose it would require them given the car was "designed" as a "utility vehicle" and not a performance car, lol.

Nick - The utes put the power down better than the sedans, they are a fair hack heavier in the bum than the Sedans

I learnt something today! :cheers:

I'm assuming they have more road/sport orientated rear suspension than regular utes?

Ye but it only ran 135mph - SIF 900rwkw
