i was driving my r33 today and went over some corrigations car turned off. started car up idles at about 400rpm now and when i try to rev it, it conks out. alot of black smoke comes out from it when ideling. fuel pump is fine and so is spark. when i try to rev it the fuel injectors turn off and engine turns off. throttle position switch is workin fine. im thinking it is the air flow meter or a loose terminal anyone know what resistance i should be gettin between the AFM terminals (there are three) and which terminals should have resistance?? and any help would be much appreciated. cheers

Sounds like a air leak from somewhere, happened to me once, intercooler pipe came off.

Just look around for a hose those loose or not tight, even pull of the pipes off and put water through them to see if leaks out.

when i unplug the AFM the car starts and runs fine till about 2500rpm. if i plug the amf back in with it idleing it runs like shit and conks out. if i unplug it then wont start till i turn the ignition off and back on again. then idels and runs till 2500 again. does this mean the afm is stuffed?? or would it be the comp (i have cleaned the afm) any help would be appreciated.....
