Hi guys, im not a fabricator myself (im doing an apprenticeship in structural design) but i've done a few bit with my dad who specialises in stainless stuff (water treatment etc).

I was just wondering what people think about their work? I.e hard graft/boring/really interesting and how the pay compares to other things (im not asking for a figure just an opinon). Im looking at chaging career direction and doing something morre practical. Being a fitter/turner/machinist quite appeals but i need some advice before I decide for certain...
